About Cub Scouts

Cub Scouts is a fun, adventurous program for children aged 8–10 years that helps young people build confidence, independence, and friendships while learning practical life skills. Through games, outdoor activities, challenges, and community projects, Cubs learn teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving in a safe and supportive environment.

The Cub Scout program follows the Scouting Achievement Pathways, where youth progress through Milestones, Outdoor Adventure Skills (OAS), and Special Interest Areas. Activities are youth-led wherever possible, encouraging Cubs to take part in planning their program, working in small patrol teams, and developing skills that help them grow into capable and caring members of their community.

Each week Cubs participate in activities that balance fun, adventure, personal development, and community involvement, helping them discover new interests while working towards badges and achievements along their Scouting journey.
