Event Details

Tamworth Hillvue JOTI-JOTA will be held at Lynchwood Scout Camp and is for all sections in the North West Region. 

Activities will start at 9am AM on the 18th of October 2025 and finish 2:00 PM 19th of October 2025

Lynchwood will be open from Friday evening for those travelling long distances or any other attendee noting:

  • there will be an additional $10 charge to stay the Friday night, this can be done as a exter charge in registration
  • leaders will not be responsible for attendees Friday night
  • Friday night dinner is self-catered and Saturday breakfast will be basic

Joey Scouts may choose to attend on the Saturday only or may choose to stay for the entire weekend including camping overnight. (Camp fee is different depending on which they choose.)

Parents and guardians are encouraged to come and enjoy the camp activities however MUST be registered as a Parent/Adult Helper and hold a WWCC (volunteer)

No adult is permitted to share accomodation with any youth member as per Scout Policy and Rules. The only exception may be If your youth member has additional medical support needs - please contact the camp organiser to discuss caring arrangements. Terence.sadler@nsw.scouts.com.au

Activities & Catering

Camp will be catered from Saturday breakfask (for those staying overnight Friday) to Sunday lunch.

During the day Scouts will have the opportunity to communicate with other Scouts from around the world via internet and radio. There will be also be activities inspired by different countries around the world including:

  • Lazer tag
  • Minecraft with scouts around the world
  • Chat and video with scouts over radio and internet
  • Campfire (weather permitted)
  • Water park (weather permitted)
  • Disco

On Saturday night, weather permitting, there will be a campfire and a disco. Later in the evening, youth who are Scout or Venturer age will have the opportunity to talk to other countries around the world.

Cost will include accommodation, food, activities and an event badge


Gear list

  • Something to sleep in eg: a tent, swag (youth may share with same gender youth)
  • Warm sleeping bag
  • Pillow
  • Something to sleep on (airbed, etc)
  • swimmers and towel for water park activity
  • Pjs or tracksuit to sleep in
  • Warm jacket
  • Wide brimmed hat
  • Closed in shoes (thongs only permitted in showers)
  • Uniform with scarf
  • Clothes for two days, suitable for the weather.

  • Mess kit (plate, bowl, cup, knife, fork, spoon, teatowel
